Hear Blessing Offor’s debut album, Say Yes- available for purchase via iTunes, CDBaby, and Amazon.com. Combining his unique sound with producer Jeff Canada, the album marks the beginning of what will surely be a lasting career.
The album has already captured hundreds of listeners- below are some short reviews of Say Yes:
Blessing Offor’s “Say Yes” is filled with great soul and R&B gems that might have come out between 1977 and 1981, but sound as fresh as anything on contemporary Urban Radio, and better than 95% of it. Comparisons to ’60s and ’70s soul will be abound, but the real magic here is in this young artist and his ability to own these songs….Motown, Philly Soul, QuietStorm, Contemporary R&B, Funk, Smooth & Traditional jazz all are well represented here. It’s as if Jeffrey Osborne and Stevie Wonder had a baby…and Steely Dan delivered.- P.S. Patterson
Blessing Offor delivers and unbelievable message- a message that is needed so desperately in popular music more than ever. His soulful music is reminiscent of Stevie Wonder, but his strong tenor voice and diverse collection of songs make him more original than almost any new artist on the market. You’re definitely seeing the beginnings of something special from Blessing, and I can’t wait for more.
