Growing up since the age of six in Hamden, many Blessing fans we able to see the show and purchase his debut album Say Yes. 

After the show, Blessing drew acclaim even from the Temptations themselves, with Dennis Edwards saying that “Blessing’s gift is straight from God,” and “…at nineteen, he is going to reach incredible heights.”
